R&D; Engineer Software Testing, Control Systems Specialista Senior / Project Manager In this role you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of embedded systems for HIAB loader cranes by shaping and executing comprehensive test strategies. You will collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to verify features and resolve defects, while building automation within CI/CD environments. The position sits in our R&D; Control Systems team on site in Minerbio, Italy, offering exposure to cutting-edge embedded testing and industry trends. You will contribute to safer, more reliable load-handling solutions and have an impact across development and QA practices. * Analyse system and software requirements * Design and implement test plans, cases, and scripts (manual and automated) for embedded software * Conduct verification tests in simulated and real environments * Document test results, perform root-cause analysis,
and report defects * Collaborate with firmware and hardware engineers during defect resolution and feature verification * Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using scripting languages (e.g., Python) integrated into CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity) * Contribute to continuous improvement in test methods and QA best practices * Support requirements engineering, modeling and system simulation for control systems development * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Quality control or equivalent * Experience in embedded software testing, firmware QA, or hardware-test environments * Experience with C, C++ and Python; familiarity with Matlab and Simulink * Familiarity with Agile workflows and Jira * Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving and communication with attention to detail * Team player, eager to learn and share knowledge * ISTQB Foundation Level is an advantage * Fluent English and Italian (written and spoken) #J-*****-Ljbffr
