Our client is an international Motorsport company delivering cutting-edge race car platforms and collaborating with global OEMs in highly competitive environments. To reinforce the technical team, we are currently recruiting a Technical Chief Designer The personis a senior engineering professional responsible for leading the design and development of a complete vehicle area across the entire lifecycle, from concept to production. The role combines strong technical expertise with project leadership, ensuring high-performance, manufacturable, and cost-effective solutions, while guiding and developing junior team members. Key Responsibilities * Lead the full design lifecycle of a complete vehicle area, from concept definition to final production release * Oversee 3D modelling, detailed design, and technical drawing creation for components and assemblies * Coordinate all phases of development, including initial assembly and testing activities * Interface with suppliers and the purchasing department to optimise technical solutions and manufacturability * Drive design decisions by balancing performance, cost, timing, and project priorities * Mentor and support junior designers,
fostering their professional growth within the team * Produce and present technical documentation and progress reports to internal stakeholders * Ensure quality standards and technical requirements are correctly defined and achieved Mandatory Skills * Fluent in technical automotive English * Proven experience in cross-functional design teams within motorsport or automotive environments * Advanced proficiency in CATIA V5: o Solid, Surface, and Sheet Metal Design o Assembly Design and Drafting o FEA analysis * Strong ability to size and validate components based on load cases * Deep knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes for high-performance automotive applications * Ability to adapt designs based on cost, timing, and project constraints * Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work autonomously Preferred Qualifications * 5+ years of experience in motorsport or high-performance automotive design * Passion for racing and high-performance vehicles Personal Skills * Precision and attention to detail * Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts * Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments * Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback * Proactive attitude and resilience * Strong troubleshooting capability Annuncio valido fino a: 31-Jul-**** #J-*****-Ljbffr
