Role Description
The Product Development Manager is a full-time role responsible for leading the end-to-end development of new inline skate products and enhancing existing lines. This hybrid position is based in Giavera del Montello, with a combination of on-site collaboration and some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining product concepts, coordinating R&D; activities, and aligning product features with market needs and brand strategy. The role involves working closely with design, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to manage product lifecycles, oversee testing and validation, and ensure timely delivery to market. The Product Development Manager will also monitor performance of launched products, collect feedback from customers and internal stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across the product portfolio.




Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data, customer insights, and financial metrics, and to support product decision-making.
Experience in market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and user needs in sports or consumer products.
Hands-on background in research and development (R&D;), collaborating with technical teams to bring concepts from idea to production.
Demonstrated product management skills, including roadmap planning, requirements definition, and lifecycle management.
Familiarity with sales processes and collaboration with commercial teams to support go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, product design, business, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
Experience in sporting goods, footwear, or equipment industries is highly beneficial; interest or experience in skating is a plus.
Proven project management abilities, including cross-functional coordination, timeline management, and problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills in en_US, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate in an international environment.
Comfort working in a hybrid setup, with flexibility to be on-site in Giavera del Montello as needed for prototyping and team meetings.
