Job Description Clinical Specialist reporting to the Clinical Manager MDS Italy & Greece. Key accountability for all clinical aspects of the MDS portfolio within the assigned geography, providing pre? and post?sales support in a clinical, training, and educational capacity. Leverages clinical and product knowledge to address customer needs, collaborates with Sales and distributor sales teams as an expert advisor and troubleshooter, and advocates best clinical practices for the portfolio. Provides clinical training and updates to the BD MDS team locally, regionally, and nationally. About the Role * Maintains a working knowledge of BD products, competitive devices, and new techniques. * Demonstrates understanding of BD policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain compliance. * Communicates effectively with district personnel, customers, and BD employees. * Establishes relationships with physicians, nurses, technologists, and administrators. Duties / Accountabilities * Provide educational and clinical support to assigned accounts/customers. * Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel on technical matters related to BD products through one?to?one in?services, staff in?services, seminars, and workshops. * Work closely with the Clinical Manager to understand the account landscape, key physicians, competitive activity, and expectations. * Assist the Clinical Manager and in?house training department in training new Clinical Specialists and Territory Managers. * Provide training and resources for hospital staff to enable train?the?trainer programs. * Present clinical evidence and health economics analyses. * Act as a strong clinical resource to physicians and support staff during training activities. * Maintain relationships with accounts, supporting BD business initiatives through regular calls and visits.
* Apply a systematic selling approach to meet customer needs and manage expectations. Education and Experience * Degree in Nursing, Cardiovascular, Radiology, Vascular Surgery, or an equivalent technical discipline. * Minimum 3 – 5 years of certified experience in Vascular Access Management, Operating Room, Interventional Radiology Lab, or Cardiac Cath Lab. * Advanced knowledge of vascular access management, vascular surgery, and endovascular medicine preferred. * Strong time?management skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. * Self?motivated, self?responsible, and able to manage priorities with minimal supervision. About You * Bachelor's degree in general nursing or as a medical doctor with strong hands?on experience in critical care areas. * Professional nursing/clinical education experience. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * High personal integrity and ethical standards. * Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in clinical roles in Pharma and/or Medical Companies strongly preferred. Location & Travel * Must be located in Trentino Alto Adige, Friuli Venezia Giulia, or Veneto. * Intermediate PC literacy in MS Office. * Driver's license. * Fluent in English. * Willing to travel up to 75 % of the time. Compensation Base salary range: €40,700 – €55,000 per year, complemented by a competitive premio structure and a comprehensive benefits package.
