p The client: p Our client is a well-established manufacturer of complete packaging systems, from standard bottles, jars and closures to custom packaging solutions and specialized parts.
/pp As part of their European growth strategy, they are expanding their sales team with this new appointment.
The role will ensure consistent growth in sales by identifying opportunities, developing sales strategies and action plans.
/pp Responsibilities Key Tasks: /pulli Proactively develop and manage relationships with existing and prospective customers to drive revenue growth /lili Identify and secure new business opportunities through structured planning, outreach, and pipeline management /lili Engage potential customers via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings to understand needs and present tailored solutions /lili Conduct customer visits to assess requirements, promote products/services, and strengthen long-term partnerships /lili Perform cost–vantaggi and commercial viability analyses for both existing and prospective accounts /lili Resolve customer issues effectively by identifying root causes, implementing solutions, and providing feedback to management /lili Consistently achieve and exceed agreed sales targets within defined timelines /lili Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure aligned and effective sales delivery /lili Provide regular market and customer insights, including needs, trends, competitor activity,
and new business opportunities /lili Recommend improvements to products, services, and commercial strategies based on performance analysis and market feedback /lili Monitor competitor activity, including pricing, product developments, and go-to-market strategies /lili Support pricing strategy, quotations, promotions, and commercial negotiations /lili Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective and existing clients /lili Manage the full sales cycle, including order processing, contract preparation, and payment follow-up /lili Respond promptly to customer enquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and credit terms /lili Maintain accurate reporting, including sales activity, pipeline updates, and market analysis /lili Ensure full compliance with company policies and relevant quality, environmental, and safety standards (ISO ****, ISO *****, IFS) /li /ulp Key skills: /pulli The ideal candidate will need to have experience in either PET Packaging (Bottles, Containers, Jars and Caps) or Plastic Packaging /lili Flexible and collaborative /lili A hunter personality, independent and highly motivated /lili Good communication skills both written and orally /lili Excellent at prospecting (cold calling and e-mailing) /lili Computer literate, with knowledge of current operating systems and software /li /ul /p
