OverviewLocal News Associate Producer (Entry Level) at WLKY, the CBS affiliate in Louisville, KY, has an opening for an Associate News Producer.
You will assist producers in all aspects of producing a newscast, while training to become a newscast producer and our main fill-in producer.
This will include building rundowns, writing stories, creating graphics, researching information, and helping with digital content production.
Associate Producers also learn to work the assignment desk, helping to gather information about stories.
This is a wonderful opportunity if you are looking to get your foot in the door and get started in a career in journalism.
