/ppTo strengthen our team in Milan we are currently looking for a: /ph3Senior BE Developer (Java) /h3pWe are looking for a Senior Back-End Developer to join our Engineering team and contribute to the design, development and evolution of our digital wealth management platform.
/ppIn this role, you will build secure, scalable and high-performing back-end services, working closely with product managers, architects and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions for financial institutions.
/ph3Main Activities /h3ulliDesign, develop and maintain scalable back-end services using Java and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture.
/liliDevelop clean, maintainable and well-tested code following engineering best practices and coding standards.
/liliDesign and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external services.
/liliContribute to the evolution of cloud-native applications deployed on Kubernetes and AWS environments.
/liliCollaborate with architects,



product managers and fellow engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
/liliEnsure application performance, scalability, resilience and reliability.
/liliApply secure coding principles and contribute to the implementation of solutions compliant with security and regulatory requirements.
/liliParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to continuously improve engineering practices.
/liliTroubleshoot complex production and application issues, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.
/liliContribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, CI/CD pipelines and software quality practices.
/li /ulh3Candidate's Experience and Qualifications /h3ulli5+ years of experience in back-end software development using Java and Spring Boot.
/liliStrong experience designing and developing microservices-based applications.
/liliHands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and AWS in production environments.
/liliExperience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
/liliSolid understanding of software architecture, secure coding principles and engineering best practices.
/liliExperience working in Agile environments using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
/liliProfessional proficiency in English and Italian.
/liliBackground in fintech, banking or regulated software environments is a genuine advantage.
/li /ulh3Nice to Have /h3ulliExperience with messaging technologies (e.g. Kafka or RabbitMQ).




/liliFamiliarity with authentication and security standards (e.g. OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT).
/liliExperience with automated testing, observability or Infrastructure as Code tools.
