ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated and analytical
Product Development Purchasing Inter
n to join our Advanced Procurement Solutions team.
Working alongside experienced PD Purchasing Specialists, you will progressively develop competencies in sourcing, cost analysis, supplier relationship management, and negotiation within an international and cross-functional environment
.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Product Development Purchasing Intern, you will support the team in:
Assisting in supplier scouting and sourcing activities for assigned commodities and components
Supporting RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes, including data collection,
quotation analysis, and supplier comparisons
Preparing cost analyses, market benchmarks, and purchasing reports
Participating in supplier meetings and commercial negotiations alongside PD Purchasing Specialists
Monitoring supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and cost targets
Collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams
Supporting the resolution of operational issues, including delivery delays, data discrepancies, and documentation management
Contributing to purchasing activities during product development and industrialization phases
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Management Engineering), Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
Strong analytical mindset and interest in industrial processes and procurement activities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced international environment
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Fluent English; Italian is required.
Additional languages will be considered a plus
