About the Role
We are looking for a Quality Specialist to join our Quality team, contributing to the development, production, and continuous improvement of our automatic packaging machines. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality standards across products and processes while supporting operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze internal quality KPIs (defect rates, rework, scrap, process deviations) and implement improvement actions to achieve production and quality targets.
Lead root cause analysis for non-conformities using structured Problem Solving tools (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa) and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with relevant departments (Production, Engineering, R&D;, Supply Chain).
Support product and process development activities, contributing to design reviews, FMEA, and risk assessments to minimize residual risks in new and existing machines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure processes comply with internal Quality System standards and operational procedures.
Develop, maintain, and update quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and reports.
Support internal audits and participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance product reliability, manufacturability, and efficiency.
Act as a point of reference for quality issues on the production floor, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
What You Need to Be Successful
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in companies in industrial automation.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical drawing, production processes and mechanical machining in medium-high complexity contexts.
Knowledge of ISO **** standards.
Strong analytical and problem?solving skills.
Excellent knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAP ERP and BO/BI is a plus.
Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken.
Excellent relational and communication skills.
Our Offer
Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR ******, in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role.
A range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy.
The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.
