The candidate is responsible for the design and development of power assemblies and electronic boards for power electronic converters for electric drives and other applications in the energy field.
Designing and testing power assemblies and electronic boards for power electronic converters, starting from the product specification requirements, through the project definition and implementation phases, adhering to time and budget, according to the Design Plan prepared by the Project Manager.
Modeling power converters through numerical simulations (PSIM, Matlab/Simulink, co-simulation, PLECS).
Defining and executing validation tests and conducting the experiments required for the production release of power converters, power assemblies and electronic boards according to the test plan and the product related Standards.
Drafting all related design, construction, and testing documentation (project reports, functional diagrams, test specifications, test reports, and operation and maintenance manuals).
Participating in system test and commissioning of new products.
Ensuring product and project compliance with applicable International Regulations and Standards.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering.
A good understanding of power electronics and electrical machines is required, along with knowledge of
basic technologies: power semiconductors, cooling technologies, and electronic circuit boards.
A good knowledge of Microsoft Office, electrical circuit simulation (PSIM, PSpice, or equivalent), calculation
(Mathcad), and mechanical design (AutoCAD) environments is required.
Basic knowledge of thermal simulation (Flotherm or equivalent) and 3D mechanical CAD (Inventor or
A willingness to travel briefly, both nationally and internationally, is required.
Language
Good written and spoken English is required.
