About The Position

Accounts Payable Specialist – Corporate Accounting Team, Assago, Italy.

Reports directly to the Head of Accounting in Antwerp and will verify payment approvals and ensure timely, accurate payment processing for QSRP entities.

Key Responsibilities

-

- Match supplier invoices to authorizing purchase orders and proofs of receipt

- Obtain payment approvals for non‑cost of goods sold invoices

- Enter all supplier invoices into the payables software

- Issue notices to suppliers regarding rejected invoice line items

- Process expense reports and procurement card payments

- Notify managers when budgeted expenditure levels have been exceeded

- Issue stop payments

- Discuss payment proposals with local management

- Incorporate all applicable supplier credits into payments made





- Research supplier requests for payment

- Update the supplier master file

- Reconcile accounts payable to the general ledger

Qualifications

-

- Maximum 5 years of experience in Accounts Payables

- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping concepts

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA

- Fluency in English; additional group language (Italian or French) is a plus
