for the ongoing summer season (approximately until the end of October), with the possibility of renewal for future seasons.
Set in a small mountain hamlet in southern South Tyrol, at 1,500 meters above sea levelnear the border withVal di Fiemme(Trentino) in the westernmost Dolomites,Berghoferin Fine Hotel & Hideaway is a boutique sanctuary of just 13 suites, combining in a uniquely refined way the charm of a meticulously curated private estate with all the amenities of luxury hospitality.

Berghoferin Fine Hotel & Hideaway is seeking a motivated and dedicated Commis de Rang, with a genuine interest in fine dining and a strong commitment to delivering attentive and professional service.
This role is designed for individuals with a completed professional training in hospitality who are at the start of their career or embarking on their journey in fine dining and high-level hospitality, offering hands-on experience in all aspects of service,



close collaboration with a small, close-knit team, and ample opportunity to learn, take initiative, and actively contribute to the guest experience. Enthusiasm for learning and growing within a fine-dining setting is essential, while previous experience in high-level hospitality is advantageous.
Position-Related Benefits
Structured 6-day workweek in high season with flexible day off; in low season, up to two days off per week are possible, as the hotel and restaurant are closed for guests from Monday after breakfast until Wednesday midday
Staff accommodation (single-room) provided free of charge
Complimentary staff meals, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, soft drinks, and coffee – also on days off
Provision and in-house cleaning of high-quality staff uniforms during employment

Free on-site parking with access to the hotel's electric car charging station

Professional Profile
Proven experience
: Completed professional training in hospitality,



with initial experience in restaurant or hotel F&B; service considered advantageous, ideally within fine-dining or high-level hospitality. Enthusiasm for learning and developing all aspects of working in fine-dining is essential.

: Genuine passion for refined hospitality, gastronomy, and bespoke guest experiences. A natural host with the ambition to consistently exceed guest expectations through attentive, warm, and professional service.
Commitment to refined hospitality
: Strong dedication to personalized, detail-oriented, and discreet service standards. Enjoys working in an intimate, quality-driven environment where precision, consistency, and individuality define the guest experience.
Beverage & F&B; expertise
: Solid, basic table service skills, including understanding service sequences, menu and beverage presentation, and guest interaction. Interest in wine service and bar knowledge is considered advantageous; further training and experience are welcomed.
Operational and organizational skills
: Structured, reliable, and hands-on approach to daily operations. Ensures cleanliness, order, and proper preparation of all work areas. Maintains smooth service flow under guidance, while upholding high standards of quality and efficiency. Attention to detail in all aspects of service.
