/ppbThe Opportunity /b /ppWe are looking for a talented Bridge Engineer to join our fast-growing Bridge and Civil Structures team in our Milan office.
/ppYou will contribute to both local and international projects, from the design of major crossings to the conception of iconic footbridges.
The wide variety of project work, combined with internal research opportunities, provides an excellent environment to further develop technical skills and to support the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
/ppbAs a Bridge Engineer at Arup, you will: /b /ppTake ownership of design packages /ppWorking directly with clients and other professionals with minor supervision /ppCo-ordinating work with engineers of other disciplines /ppProducing project related correspondence and reports /ppProviding design calculations and supporting preparation and review of deliverables /ppbDoes this role inspire you?
/b /ppWe're looking for a Bridge Engineer who is passionate about challenging design problems and with an interest in innovation and optimisation.
We also value: /ppMaster's degree in Structural Engineering ("Theory and Design of Bridges" module or a Bridges-focused Master's thesis being a plus) /pp2+ years of proven experience in design and assessment of bridge structures (steel, prestressed concrete, steel-concrete composite) /ppA strong interest and aptitude for new technologies, automation,
