Experteer Overview As Senior Payroll Specialist, you will act as a payroll expert within the HR Services Team to ensure accurate payroll processing for Italian employees and excellent service. You'll collaborate with HR Operations, external payroll providers, and in-country teams to deliver compliant, timely payroll data and issue resolution. The role focuses on Italy-specific payroll calculations, statutory reporting, and audits, while driving process improvements and customer experience. You will engage with global mobility data and ad hoc HR initiatives to support AstraZeneca's people strategy. This is an opportunity to shape payroll operations in a global pharma environment and contribute to patient-first, Retribuzione / Benefits * Monthly payroll data preparation in collaboration with HR Operations and Payroll Team * Italy-specific payroll calculations under CCNL (salary split, gross salary for insurances, etc.) * Mandatory statutory reporting (DURC, 770 form, tax declarations, etc.)



* Management and payment of employee and executive pension funds * Global Mobility data handling for expatriate/inpatriate employees * Collaboration with external payroll provider and issue resolution * Build relationships with payroll supplier to enhance service and innovation * Deliver exceptional customer experience and respond to payroll queries * Ensure regulatory compliance and perform payroll audit controls * Complete payroll reconciliations and generate periodic reports * Respond to payroll escalations and resolve pay and time issues * Act as AZ payroll SME and work with in-country HR teams on complex transactions * Utilize HR knowledge base and instructions to ensure consistent processes * Support wider HR Operations & Solutions with ad hoc projects * Raise/validate payroll POs and invoices * Serve as contact for National Government Authorities Responsabilità * Experience supporting HR processes, preferably in Workday * Strong knowledge of Italian payroll and legislation, CCNL * Excellent command of Italian and English * Attention to detail and data accuracyUnderstanding of HR service technologies (case management, portals) * Experience with Microsoft applications * Ability to handle confidential data * Location: Milan with possibility of relocation to Lisbon #J-*****-Ljbffr
