Overview
In this role, you will execute service site activities for transformers, ensuring adherence to Hitachi Energy standards and safety guidelines. You will perform installation, commissioning, and routine maintenance, analyzing technical issues on‑site or remotely. You will support customer satisfaction by delivering quality service and identifying new service opportunities. You work closely with customers and cross‑functional teams to prepare materials, document work, and coordinate subcontractors, aiming to improve operations and service quality. This is a hands‑on, field‑facing role with a strong focus on safety and customer impact.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently
- Identify technical problems and analyze them on‑site or remotely across service categories
- Conduct Low Voltage tests at site and electrical cabling for new accessories installation and digital devices
- Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing service work per customer order and maintaining relationships
- Coordinate materials, parts and equipment availability and quality for service activities
- Prepare documentation for customer sign‑off and report work done in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot simple equipment failures and recommend durable fixes
- Provide recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service
- Apply safety rules, safe practices, and environmental xysqume responsibilities; report unsafe conditions
- Coordinate subcontractors for scope
- Identify new sales opportunities and communicate them internally
Qualifications
- Electrical Technical diploma
- 5+ years of experience in a similar transformers role
- Good knowledge of Italian and English
- Availability to travel 100% in Italy
