/p h3About This Role /h3 pWe are seeking a skilled Clearing Operational Risk Manager to join our team in Rome.
In this role, you will support the operational risk framework and contribute to the ongoing development of risk culture and processes across the organisation, ensuring robust risk management in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
/p h3You will be primarily responsible for: /h3 ul liLeading and coordinating the identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation of operational and IT risks, including cyber security, IT resilience, business continuity, third-party and data management /li liDevelop, manage and monitor Key Risk Indicators and promote risk awareness across the Company /li liSupporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Enterprise risk management framework, ensuring alignment with Group policies, regulatory requirements (including DORA) and industry standards /li liProviding expert guidance on risk policies, methodologies and control requirements to business and functional teams /li liCoordinating scenario analysis and contributing to Recovery and Resolution Plans, presenting findings and recommendations to management /li liPreparing and delivering clear and concise risk reporting to Senior Management, Risk Committees and the Board /li liAnalysing incidents and emerging risks,



issuing recommendations for mitigation and supporting follow?up actions /li liDrafting Operational risk assessment on strategic initiatives and projects /li liActing as a point of contact for regulators, resolution authorities and internal/external auditors, coordinating responses and ensuring timely engagement /li liPromoting risk awareness and best practices across the organisation, and supporting the development of junior team members /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul liMaster's degree in computer science, cyber security, engineering, information technology, economics, finance or a related field /li li5-6 years of work experience within financial or technology services (e.g. banks, regulators, audit or consultancy firms), ideally with exposure to clearing or post?trade environments /li liGood knowledge of IT governance, information security and business continuity frameworks (such as ISO/IEC *****, ISO *****, NIST, CIS Framework, ITIL, DORA) /li liStrong transversal understanding of end?to?end business, operational and IT processes /li liExperience in coordinating projects and engaging with regulatory authorities /li liExcellent analytical, critical thinking and problem?solving skills, with the ability to assess cross?functional impacts /li liStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to discuss risks in an approachable and structured manner /li liPrecision,
