What you will do
At Volvo Group, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry, and society at large. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate their needs into robust data solutions, designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines using Azure services, Databricks, and DBT. You will develop advanced transformation logic, integrate Azure AI services into analytics workflows, and establish DevOps/MLOps practices to ensure automation and deployment standards. Your work will include writing efficient code in SQL, Python, and PySpark, designing Power BI dashboards, and actively engaging in an Agile environment. You will handle multiple projects in parallel, mentor senior engineers, and play a key role in shaping the long-term data platform roadmap and best practices.

Essential requirements:
- Over 12 years of experience in data engineering, with hands-on expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines.
- Deep, hands-on proficiency in Azure services, Databricks, and DBT.
- Strong programming and troubleshooting skills in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
- Proven experience setting up and managing DevOps and MLOps pipelines using GitHub.
Nice to have:
- Experience with API/system integration and deploying AI/ML models into production.
- Proficiency in data modelling and working with Azure AI services.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A positive, can-do attitude and experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.
