ph3Job Description Summary Role Purpose /h3pThe Pharmacy Account Specialist is responsible for the comprehensive management of pharmacies, pharmacy groups, and chains within the assigned territory. This field-based role focuses on implementing commercial strategies, managing negotiations, delivering training and marketing initiatives, and promoting the value of generic medicines to support the sustainability of the healthcare system. The role also requires the collection of market intelligence and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and business performance. /ph3Job Description /h3h3Your Key Responsibilities /h3pYour responsibilities include, but not limited to: /pulliAct as a territory manager within the assigned geographical area, identifying and prioritizing target pharmacies, groups, and chains according to company segmentation. /liliDefine and achieve sales, efficiency, and performance objectives for assigned customers. /liliManage customer initiatives and activities within the allocated budget to support business objectives. /liliDevelop and execute negotiation strategies to maximise commercial and financial results. /liliDesign and implement customer engagement plans through marketing campaigns, commercial presentations, and training activities. /liliBuild and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and long‑term partnership. /liliOptimize customer coverage, contact frequency, and use of communication channels to maximise territory effectiveness. /liliCollect, analyse, and report market intelligence, competitor information, and business insights to support decision‑making. /liliAchieve agreed sales and performance objectives across the assigned territory. /li /ulh3Essential Requirements /h3pWhat you’ll bring to the role:



/pulliPrevious experience in Sales Representative or similar commercial roles within the generic pharmaceutical industry. /liliStrong knowledge of the company portfolio and generic pharmaceutical market. /liliProven customer relationship and stakeholder management capabilities.Strong analytical skills combined with a sales‑oriented mindset. /liliResults‑driven approach with the ability to achieve and exceed objectives. /liliStrong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics and competitive environments. /liliExcellent listening, communication, and negotiation skills. /liliStrong problem‑solving capabilities while operating within compliance, regulatory requirements, and company SOPs. /liliFluent in Italian and English. /li /ulh3Compensation Structure Criteria /h3pSandoz compensation is determined by job level, qualifications, niche skills, experience, and location within company salary ranges. Fully proficient and highly effective employees can expect a starting salary around market median, with those new to the level or with less functional depth at the lower end of the range and those with sustained superior or niche skills towards the higher end of the range. Internal equity and external market data inform our range placement.
