ph3Description /h3pJob Title: Environmental/ Energy Manager EEM /ppLocation: NAS Sigonella /ppScope: Ensures compliance with environmental, energy, and sustainability requirements. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliImplements the Environmental Management System (EMS). /liliPrepares, submits, and maintains environmental permits, reports, and spill response documentation. /liliDevelops and enforces compliance with the Installation Energy Plan. /liliConducts environmental audits, inspections, and spill drills. /liliEnsures compliance with Italian, DoD, and U.S. environmental policies. /liliOversees waste reduction, recycling, and pollution prevention programs. /liliCoordinates with the Installation Environmental Office (IEO) on spill prevention and remediation. /liliTracks energy usage and provides recommendations for reduction and optimization. /liliEducates workforce on environmental stewardship and energy conservation. /li /ulh3Mandatory Experience Certifications /h3ulliMinimum two years of experience in environmental procedures comparable to contract requirements. /liliFamiliarity with Environmental Management Systems (EMS). /liliKnowledge of environmental regulations, federal energy laws, and policies. /li /ulh3Preferred / Desirable Certifications /h3ulliISO 14001 Environmental Management certification. /liliCertified Energy Manager (CEM). /liliLEED AP accreditation. /li /ulh3Disclaimer /h3pThe responsibilities and qualifications outlined above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by those in this position.
