Parent-Child Educator

Location: Caserma Renato Del Din, Vicenza, Italy.

Position: Full-time

Duties:

- Provide child Parent/Child Education to enhance resiliency, improve relationship skills, and strengthen families.
- Coordinate and deliver Family Advocacy Program (FAP) Prevention Education Services and special programming, including Problematic Sexual Behavior in Children and Youth (PSB-CY).
- Administer and manage Emergency Placement Care (EPC) program, including provider recruitment, training, and placement coordination.
- Assist with community outreach, marketing, and awareness campaigns for the Family Advocacy Program.
- Provide education and training in family violence prevention, including Child Abuse Identification and Reporting classes.




- Develop and facilitate special programs to support child abuse prevention and domestic violence awareness within the Caserma Renato Del Din community.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Social or Behavioral Health Science, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Community or Public Health, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in family and children’s services/advocacy, organization of community programs, and family violence prevention.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to fluently read, write, and speak.
- Experience in developing and implementing child abuse and domestic violence prevention programs.
- Familiarity with up-to-date computer software.
