Are you an Italian speaker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for online communities? We're looking for a Content Moderator to join our team in sunny Lisbon. This is a full-time, on-site role where you'll be a key player in ensuring a top social media platform remains a positive and safe space for its millions of users. Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Content Moderator, you will be on the front lines of digital safety. Your main responsibility is to review user-generated content in Italian, including videos, comments, and user profiles, to ensure they comply with our strict community guidelines. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role where your sharp judgment is crucial.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Content Review: Proactively reviewing a high volume of content to identify and flag any violations of our policies.
- Policy Enforcement: Taking swift and appropriate action on content that includes hate speech, misinformation, graphic violence, or other inappropriate material.
- Collaboration: Working closely with your international team to handle complex content issues and contribute to a supportive work environment.
- Staying Informed: Keeping up-to-date with evolving community standards and policies to ensure your moderation approach is always relevant.
What We're Looking For

- Italian Fluency: You must have C2-level (native or near-native) proficiency in Italian, both written and spoken.
- English Proficiency:
A B2 level of English is required to communicate effectively with your international team and participate in training sessions.
- Attention to Detail: You must be highly meticulous, capable of spotting subtle policy violations in a high-volume environment.
- Professionalism: You should be able to handle sensitive and potentially disturbing content with maturity and discretion.
