INSURANCE LIFE & INVESTMENTS OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

In this role you will own end-to-end back-office operations for insurance-based investment products, driving proactive issue resolution and process enhancements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support distribution channels and post-sale activities, ensuring accurate policy administration and compliance. You will interface with external providers and continually improve operational processes to boost efficiency and accuracy. This is a hands‑on, results‑oriented position within Allianz’s Operations function, with a focus on unit-linked/IBIPs and a clear impact on customer outcomes. You will work in a collaborative environment that values integrity, inclusion, and service.

- Manage full lifecycle of LIFE policies (issuance, amendments/endorsements, surrenders/withdrawals, fund switches, premium/payment processing)
- Provide day-to-day operational support to distribution channels (banks, financial advisers, intermediaries)
- Handle post-sale activities and operational requests




- Interface with external providers (IT systems, administration platforms)
- Collaborate with Compliance, AML, Finance, IT, Sales
- Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Significant experience (10-15 years) in insurance back office / operations
- Proven experience with insurance-based xlwpduy investment products (unit-linked, IBIPs)
- Strong understanding of insurance operational processes and policy administration activities
- Familiarity with AML and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical mindset; high level of attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of ChatGPT or equivalent tools
- Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken
