What you build here has the power to unlock human potential. /ph3Our Partners /h3pOURSTORY /ph3It all began back in 2020 with the idea... /h3pDecember 2022 /ppIn December 2022, Algor Education won the €50,000 grant “From Idea to the Business” of the 2031 Prize, the most important competition for innovative startups in Italy. /ppIn December 2023 Algor closes a €1,400,000 international investment led by the UK fund Emerge, together with the Investors Club, 40Jemz Ventures, and Gustaf Nordbäck. With these funds, Algor aims to expand the team and breathe life into its mission: to revolutionize the world of education with AI worldwide. /ppIt all started at the end of 2020, when Mauro participated in a Challenge proposed by the Clik of the Polytechnic of Turin, whose purpose was to solve a concrete problem using Artificial Intelligence. It was at that moment that the idea of creating an algorithm capable of synthesizing and reworking texts in a completely automatic way was born. /ppA few months before the start, the first prototype capable of creating concept maps automatically was born, and this allows Algor to win the Challenge proposed by the Polytechnic of Turin. The collaboration with the Italian Dyslexia Association and with Dr. Barbara Urdanch, which began at the same time, is fundamental. /ppAfter winning the Challenge, Mauro decided to invest the prize in the project and presented Algor to the Innovative Business Incubator of the Polytechnic of Turin (I3P). Luca Toma (Start-up Business Analyst) likes the idea a lot and this allows Algor to access a pre-incubation course in I3P. New opportunities arise and now Algor only needs a very talented team. /ppMarch 2021 /ph3A really fantastic team /h3pAt the end of March 2021, Algor finds what he needs most: Matteo, Fabio, Emanuele, Antonino and Giovanni. 5 people of extraordinary talent, able to make a huge difference to the project. In a month, this team manages to transform the prototype into a fully functional application, which gets more than 500 subscribers in less than a week from launch. /ph3Victory of the 2021 Ancalau Prize /h3pOn 20 June 2021, Algor won the sixth edition of the Ancalau Prize, organized by the municipality of Bosia (CN) in collaboration with several important partners, including Eataly and Banca d'Alba.



The prize of 10,000 euros is fully invested to improve the accessibility of the App and add new features. /ppOn 19 July 2021, Algor Lab S.r.l. was officially foundedA few days later, the entire Algor Team participated as a guest at the Giffoni Film Festival, Impact section. For many years, this festival had seen Giovanni among the young members of the jury. Watching the transition from spectator to guest was a great inspiration for many young people present at the festival. /ppIn July 2021, Algor won the “Nazaré Lifelong Learning” call proposed by Onde Alte, with a prize of 20,000 euros and a 6-month acceleration course. In addition to the important economic contribution, the experience with the Onde Alte team will be unique and unforgettable. /ppOctober 2021 is a month full of surprises and awards: Algor participates in Digithon 2021, winning the TIM award for inclusion and in StartCup Piemonte Valle d'Aosta 2021, qualifying for the National Innovation Award (PNI).In the same month, Corriere della Sera, in collaboration with Ashoka Italia, awarded our CEO the “Economies of Trust” award. /ppAlgor collects 180 thousand euros from the Investors Club, one of the main business angel groups in Italy. Angelo Italiano and Anna Maria Siccardi, co-champion of the operation, said: “Algor has garnered the trust of a wide audience among Club Members, both for the solidity of the idea and the technology behind the product, and for the marked connotation of social impact that the project brings with it...” /ppOn December 3, 2021, Algor won the National Innovation Award (PNI) for the ICT category with a check for 25,000 euros and the special prize for Best Social Innovative Startup by Intesa Sanpaolo (10,000 euros). /ppIn March 2022, the entire Algor team was included in the Forbes Italia 100 Under 30 ranking.In the same month, the startup completes the Ready to Impact acceleration course proposed by a|cube. /ppAlgor Lab is the winner of Unicredit StartLab's Impact Innovation category.
