As part of the Platform Tech team you will be involved in developing new, cool features and maintaining the existing ones for the platforms that our customers use.
We’re looking for a Web/Front-End Developer fluent in English working fully remotely. The ideal candidate would be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging responsive web applications for the company. Using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, this candidate will be able to translate user and business needs into functional front-end design.
- Develop high-quality and responsive user interfaces for web applications using React.
- Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing interfaces that meet user needs and brand guidelines
- Work closely with product managers and backend engineers to integrate frontend components with backend APIs and databases
- Ensure the web applications are optimized for speed and performance, including minimizing load times and maximizing interactivity
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code that can be easily understood and modified by other team members
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members
- Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and trends and bring new ideas and solutions to the team
- Ensure the web applications are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities
- Test and debug frontend components to identify and fix issues that arise during development
- Document technical specifications and provide support to other team members as needed
- 3+ years of web development experience in a professional environment.
- Software architecture knowledge and implementing scalable solutions are extremely important. (Experience in writing scalable, testable code)
- Must have experience in Javascript, ES6 ,HTML & CSS and React.
- Strong experience with REST API
- Very passionate about web development in general, with a keen interest in the future of the web: ES2018, Web Components, future Web API’s, CSS modules and beyond.
- Fully understands how to implement a professional design into our custom website.
- Strong JavaScript Skills are a must.
- Must have a passion for clean markup, with an attention to detail.
- Have a good understanding of UI design, Usability, and Accessibility.
- Must be CSS proficient, with full understanding of specificity and cascade.
- Must understand cross-browser compatibility.
- Proficiency in web performance standards and industry-wide best practices.
- Ability to work well independently and in an Agile team environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbally and written
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with backend technologies such as APIs and databases
- Experience with Node.js and MySQL
- Familiarity with Figma
- Willingness to mentor and guide junior team members
- Knowledge of web analytics tools and methodologies
