Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for an Associate Project Engineer , located in the Italian production plant of Johnson&Johnson; Innovative Medicine (Borgo San Michele, Latina).

Within the Engineering team, you will join the group responsible for the design and introduction of new pharmaceutical products at the site, as well as for implementing new packaging configurations and technologies to respond to the ongoing changes in market needs. Your contribution will, of course, have a direct impact on our patients! You will also have the opportunity to participate in innovation projects, which are essential for the plant’s growth in terms of efficiency and right-first-time.

Developing competitive solutions is relevant part of our work, being involved in robotics systems design and other software solutions for the pharma sector with a high technological impact, in line with Industry 4.0.





On one hand you will manage the collaboration with different departments structuring the design of new solutions with them and suppliers; on the other hand, technology evolves and is improved during daily work to increase the efficiency of processes step by step. It is therefore a particularly exciting role, flawless for those who want to be ahead of the market of robotics and automation, entering a new pharma industrial revolution phase that focuses heavily on inter-connectivity, machine learning, and real-time data.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as a leader of the project driving a multidisciplinary team
- Design system/project requirements in alignment with compliance (gmp) and products characteristics interacting with internal and external partners
- Execute and deliver the implementation phase timely and in alignment with budget
- Drive the change control process into the engineering project
- Assure the C&Q; commissioning and qualification steps to release the systems




- Interact with multiple departments and stakeholders among the project team
- Manage criticalities and escalation processes

Qualifications

Education:

- University Degree - Engineering preferred (Chemical, Mechanical, Automation, Computer or Management Engineering) other Degrees can be considered

Experience and Skills:

Required:

- Ability to build strong working partnerships, trust and credibility at all levels
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and organization skills required

Preferred:

- Budget management
- Previous experience in systems improvement, operations and automation

Other:

- Proficiency in English is required (B2 level and above)
