Whitin the Business Line Energy Carriers, the Mechanical Department is looking for a

STATIC EQUIPMENT ENGINEER

for the Mechanical equipment engineering team.

Main activities :

- Perform technical tasks assigned by the Static Equipment Lead, related to design, verification or study activities of Storage Tanks, Air Coolers, Reactors, Columns, Vessels and Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers;

- Co-ordinate some technical activities performed inside or outside Saipem (i.E. Review Client technical documentation and requirements, Control subcontracted discipline engineering documents;
)




- Perform the follow up of supplies with the selected Vendor after the Purchase Order award;

- Perform the estimation of each item (weight/cost);

- Prepare detail engineering documentation in compliance with the process requirements and technical specifications (equipment mechanical data sheets, etc.
- Optimise the technical solutions ensuring minimal cost and simplification in compliance with the required performance.

Requirements :

- Proven experience (at least 5 years) in the same or similar positions with International Main Contracting &
Engineering Companies;

- Focus on static equipment (mainly on Air Cooler or Shell and Tube Heat Exchagers) and has familiarity with PC software for Office Automation and Software for Mechanical Equipment Design (i.E. PV Elite, Compress, or similar).
- Proficient in English (B2)
- Availability to travel abroad to offices and construction site

permanent, salary package commensurate with the level of experience
