Palmer Johnson is looking for an experienced Yacht Project Manager in our Pisa production facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing super-yacht projects below the 500GT within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Defining the activities from start to delivery in MS Project

- Ensuring the project timeline is respected

- Monitor project deliverables

- Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress

- Coordinate and support project team members with tasks you assign them on the following areas: engineering, production and procurement.

General knowledge of all engineering system engineering and operations:

- Composite structure

- Naval architecture (CE rules,



weight tracking and stability calculation are a must)

- Mechanical and prolusion systems

- Electrical

- Electronics & audio-visual

- Hydraulics

- Air conditioning and all yacht systems

- Engine room safety management (ISM)

- Insulation

- Interior joinery construction

- Deck fitting and integration engineering

Qualifications

- 5 to 7 years experience in a similar role in the yachting industry

- Strong knowledge of Super Yacht building

- Strong business acumen in project planning and management

- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills

- Fluent in Italian and English

- Software required: Rhino, AutoCAD, Micosoft Office Suite. SolidWorks a plus.
