ABB Italy has a large competence center with many years of experience in SAP technologies and solutions in a complex business environment. ABB wants to enlarge the team with someone who brings new technologies knowledge, in addition to recently hired SAP architect, to be prepared for next challenge of S/4 HANA transformation.
You will own software solution architecture across multiple architecture categories and ensure its alignment with enterprise and data architecture standards. Also, you will be responsible for the design and build, integrity, and quality of an IS solution and associated IS services delivered to business.
~ In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:
Designing and building SAP custom solutions.
Maintaining the integrity and quality of SAP solutions and integrated IS services.
Performing internal testing and supporting user testing when needed.
Guiding and monitoring task completion, sharing expert knowledge and advice without direct line responsibility. Coordinating with other functional and technical SAP consultants, as well as with other application SMEs, on integration solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar discipline.
Experience of at least 3 years as SAP Solution Architect and ABAP language developer, better if in the same business sector of ABB.
Strong SAP ABAP expertise, including object-oriented programming; Solid experience in SAP integrations, including IDOCs, BAPI, APIs, and web services, with basic functional knowledge of SAP modules (SD, MM, WM, PP).
