About the position

Role Overview

As part of O’Tacos’ direct expansion plan, the Area Supervisor will report to the Operations Manager and oversee a growing portfolio of company-owned restaurants, ensuring full alignment with operational, financial, and quality standards.

The role currently covers 5 restaurants, with a planned doubling of the network over the course of the year.

Within this growth context, the Area Supervisor will drive operational consistency, business performance, and team development, while fostering a high-quality and consistent customer experience—enhancing service standards, customer connection, and brand perception—and progressively gaining exposure to network expansion and franchising development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hands-on operational presence

Ensure a consistent on-the-ground presence across existing restaurants in Milan Metropolitan area
Support teams in the daily execution of operations
Monitor the implementation of operational and financial procedures
Conduct regular audits and spot checks (inventory, labour cost, margins, compliance)

2. Customer experience and operational excellence

Drive a consistent and high-quality customer experience aligned with brand positioning
Ensure strong standards of service, hospitality, and store environment

Develop teams’ ability to:
build authentic customer connection
enhance product value through clear and engaging storytelling
actively manage customer feedback and online reputation
Ensure full compliance with HACCP, safety, and quality standards

3. Performance management and revenue growth

Monitor and analyse key performance indicators across the network




Define and implement action plans to drive sales and profitability
Ensure budget discipline and P&L; accountability

4. Team management and development

Lead, coach, and support Restaurant Managers

Strengthen capabilities across:
performance management
people development
operational execution
Partner with HR and Operations to build and develop strong teams

5. Expansion and Network development support

Support new openings and ensure a smooth operational ramp-up
Contribute to the scalability and consistency of the network
Gradually engage in franchising development and partner support
What do you bring

We are open to candidates coming from both experienced Store Manager roles within structured and well-organised restaurant chains, as well as Area Supervisors with multi-unit exposure, who are eager to further develop their scope and contribute in a fast-scaling environment.

You bring strong leadership skills along with the ambition to further develop your capabilities in financial performance and people management, within a structured and supportive organisation.

You also have a genuine customer-centric mindset, with the ability to elevate service standards, foster meaningful customer interactions, and contribute to a strong and consistent brand perception across locations.

Required Skills and Experience

Hands-on experience in the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) sector
Solid understanding of the fast-food restaurant business
Knowledge of operational procedures aimed at maximizing Quality, Cleanliness, and Service
Proven experience in people management (training, resource allocation, shift planning)
Experience in customer-centric environments, with exposure to building engaging and high-quality customer experiences
Basic knowledge of the Tourism National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL Turismo – preferred)
Good understanding of a restaurant P&L;
Experience in conducting internal restaurant audits
Knowledge of HACCP regulations
Strong proficiency in IT tools, particularly MS Office
Valid driving license (Category B)

What we offer:
Permanent Contract
Level 1 – CCNL Commercio e Terziario
The contract level and compensation package will be determined based on the candidate's experience and the extent to which their profile matches the responsibilities and competencies required for the role. The indicative gross annual salary ranges from €40,000 to €45,000
Bonus based on seniority and performance
Company car (available for both business and personal use), fuel card, insurance, servicing, and maintenance.
