BIOINFORMATICIAN/COMPUTATIONAL SCIENTIST - DIVISION OF NEUROSCIENCE

IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, is looking for a Bioinformatician/Computational scientist to join the groups led Vania Broccoli and Alessandro Sessa into the Division of Neuroscience. Scientists affiliated to the Division work together to investigate key and hot issues in neuroscience, with emphasis on the following areas: neurobiology, neuroepidemiology, neuropathology, neurophysiology, neuroimmunology, psychopathology and neuroimaging.
Main activities:
Analysis and meaningful comparison of NGS-derived datasets (RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, Cut&Run;) and single-cell experiments
Who we are looking for:
highly-motivated scientist to join our scientific community
successful applicants should hold a master or a PhD degree in Biology, Biotechnology or Bioinformatics
a pro-active attitude to work in team
experiences in neuroscience or cancer field is a plus

Type of contract: collaboration full-time
Duration: one year, renewable
