The Senior Shift Engineer will diagnose and provide maintenance services and repairs to hotel equipment including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire & safety, refrigeration, and overall coordination activities. The position requires electrical competence in particular. Also, the position responds to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all corporate policies.

Responsabilities:

- Implement and handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs.
- Diagnose and handle all repairs of systems and equipment, with particular competences in electrical systems, devices, home automation, PLCs, lighting systems, electrical panels and devices, access control systems, and associated, also guiding and coordinating external vendors/contractors. The candidate shall be capable of reading electrical components and placing appropriate orders for new materials.




- Performs scheduled building routine rounds, in particular to all HVAC equipment
- Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public areas in a timely manner.
- Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- Puts extreme care and attention to order and cleanliness in the workshop, technical rooms, office, and other engineering locations. Make sure all plant rooms and workshop are in perfect condition.
- Participate to the daily building maintenance procedures, providing support when and as required.
- Provide minor electrical installations when required.
- Assist with energy conservation programs in the hotel.
- Organize and monitor spare parts inventory, requesting new materials when needed.
- Any other task as it might be required from time to time

Requirements:

- Min 5 years' experience in building maintenance, if in luxury hotels would be a plus
- Strong skills and competences in electrical systems and home automation
- English language is recommended
