ppRINA is currently recruiting for a bFleet Performance Compliance Engineer /b to join its office in bGenova /b within the bMarine Compliance, Classification Statutory Certification /b Division. /ph3Mission /h3pThe Fleet Performance Compliance Engineer is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the performance of vessels within the fleet to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and optimal operational efficiency. /ppThe Fleet Performance Engineer works closely with MCFPP Head and MCLTS Head to analyse/investigate cases of Port State and Flag State inspections/detentions to identify shortcomings occurred within periodical surveys/audits previously carried out. This activity is aimed at identifying corrective/preventive actions to enhance performance of Marine Operational Network in ensuring periodical/surveys audits are carried out with the highest effectiveness and full compliance with applicable class/statutory requirements and in the respect of applicable flag administration requirements and RINA procedures. /ppThe role involves survey reports analysis, data analysis, report generation, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support the classification society's mission of promoting safety and sustainability in the maritime industry. /ph3Key Accountabilities /h3ulliAnalysis/investigation of cases of Port State and Flag State inspections/detentions /liliAnalysis/investigation of cases of Port State and Flag State inspections/detentions to identify shortcomings occurred within periodical surveys/audits previously carried out and identifying corrective/preventive actions to enhance performance of Marine Operational Network in ensuring periodical/surveys audits are carried out with the highest effectiveness and full compliance with applicable class/statutory requirements and in the respect of applicable flag administration requirements and RINA procedures. /liliResponse to Port State or Flag State detentions: /liliIn the event vessel is detained, assist Senior Engineers and work closely with Port and Flag State Authorities and Marine Operations to ensure swift resolution. /liliAssis in Providing support and documentation as required to facilitate the vessel's release from detention. /liliFleet Performance Monitoring: /liliProvide Support to Senior Engineers in the Monitoring of the operational performance of ships within the fleet.
This involves collecting and analyzing data related to the ship's machinery, systems, and overall performance to ensure compliance with classification and regulatory standards. /liliData Collection: /liliGather data from various sources, websites, and classification society databases. /liliPerformance Analysis: /liliAnalyze the collected data to assess the overall health and performance of the fleet. /liliAssist Senior Engineers in Data analsis in order to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. /liliPort State Control Support: /liliAssist in preparing ships for Port State Control inspections. Ensure that vessels meet all safety and environmental standards required by port authorities and flag state regulations. /liliReporting: /liliAssist Senior Engineers in preparing reports and presentations summarizing the fleet's performance and compliance status. Share this information with ship operators and other stakeholders within the classification Society. /liliRecommendations: /liliSupport Senior Engineers in collecting and providing recommendations for maintenance and repairs to ensure that ships operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with regulatory requirements. /liliCollaborate with Marine Operations to implement these recommendations. /liliResearch and Development: /liliStay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes. Investigate new technologies and practices that can improve fleet performance and compliance. /liliCommunication: /liliCollaborate with shipowners, operators, and other relevant parties to address performance issues, provide technical expertise, and ensure open lines of communication for continuous improvement. /liliDocumentation: /liliMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all fleet-related data, reports, and performance assessments.
