ph3Job Description /h3pTrillium Pumps Italy is looking for a Technical Engineer. /ph3Purpose of the Role /h3pThe Technical Engineer reports to the Product Technology Manager and participates in activities across the tender phase, project execution, and product development. The role collaborates closely with Product Design and Commercial Operations, providing technical expertise and support. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliCarry out assigned activities while meeting “On Time Delivery” objectives. /liliSupport the Commercial Operations team during the tender phase by addressing technical questions related to pump performance and mechanical setup. /liliMaintain and verify pump curves within the IQ SKB system, ensuring alignment with tested data. /liliValidate hydraulic designs for pre-engineered pumps and, when needed, for custom solutions to ensure required performance curves are achieved. /liliConduct technical evaluations of ongoing projects. /liliManage, maintain, and enhance the Pump Configurator software. /liliPerform FEA or spreadsheet-based calculations for specific projects, coordinating with RD when required. /liliDevelop 3D models when necessary. /liliCreate and update IOM manuals and certification documentation (e.g., CE, ATEX, PED). /liliContribute to internal product specification guidelines in collaboration with the Product Engineering Manager.



/liliAct as “Pump Technical Referent” when needed, participating in product development meetings and supporting other departments on specific product lines. /liliProvide support to the Test Center and define impeller trimming or other hydraulic adjustments to meet project specifications. /liliAnalyze NCRs related to pump components and assemblies, providing feedback to Quality and Production teams. /liliAssist in onboarding and training new team members when required. /liliSupport the Product Technology Manager in improving operational efficiency by proposing and developing optimized tools and processes. /li /ulh3Education and Qualifications /h3pDegree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, with at least two years of experience in similar roles involving rotating machinery, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. /ph3Computer Skills /h3pProficiency in Ansys CFX, PTC Creo Parametric, and PTC Creo Simulate; basic knowledge of Nastran and Visual Basic.
