The client is undergoing a large-scale infrastructure modernization, transitioning their core database systems from a complex Oracle environment to PostgreSQL. /p pWe are looking for a hands-on, highly autonomous bDatabase Migration Expert /b to integrate into the client's internal engineering unit and drive this transition technically. /p h3Your Role Impact /h3 ul liServe as the technical spearhead for migrating large-scale database landscapes from Oracle to PostgreSQL. /li liTake ownership of data modeling, architectural alignment, and deep-level performance tuning on both DBMS platforms. /li liEnsure absolute data integrity, quality assurance, and seamless integration within a heterogeneous system landscape. /li liNote on tech stack:



The exact migration toolchain and methodologies are currently being evaluated by the client and will be a key topic of discussion during your technical interview. /li /ul h3What You Need to Succeed /h3 ul libMandatory Language Skills: /b Absolute fluency in bGerman /b is required to operate seamlessly within the local team. Professional English is also necessary. /li libProven Track Record: /b You must have demonstrable, hands-on experience in executing direct Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migrations, not just general DBA experience. /li libDeep Technical Knowledge: /b Exceptional command of SQL, PL/SQL, PL/pgSQL, and robust architectural understanding of both Oracle and PostgreSQL ecosystems. /li libConsulting Mindset: /b Ability to work independently, solve complex technical bottlenecks proactively, and communicate effectively with enterprise stakeholders. /li /ul h3Logistics Conditions /h3 pThis role requires a stable hybrid setup. You must be able to guarantee b2 mandatory onsite days per week /b at the client's facilities.
