ppAs part of the evolution of our System Field Application Engineer (FAE) team deployment, we have a need for someone to lead the system activities in aerospace with a focus on dual-usage drones. /p pThe ideal candidate will bring expertise in drone system architecture, avionics, connectivity, autonomy, and mission system integration for dual-usage drones, along with a semiconductor architecture or RD background and hands-on experience designing with components. /p pIn this senior role, working closely with the Key Account Managers, you will be the primary technical interface to system architects and system developers at our customers in Aerospace for advanced drone systems. Providing your technical insights along with coordinating those of Business Line experts/architects around NXP’s system solutions products. Understanding their technical needs and challenges, as well as interpreting evolving industry trends will allow you to work closely with our Business Lines and Engineering teams to influence NXP products and solutions. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead and coordinate System FAE activities and communications for advanced drone systems in Aerospace. /li liPrimary technical interface to drone system architects and system developers at our customers. /li liProvide technical insight and support around NXP’s system solutions products for drone platforms, avionics and mission systems. /li liPropose NXP system solutions to meet customer requirements. /li liBuild Customer System knowledge, including emerging market/technology trends requirements. /li liCreate system-level trainings, application notes, white papers and brochures (internal external).
/li liTranslate customer and market needs into requirements for internal RD HW and software organizations. /li liSpecify application use cases and performance targets for SoC modules and IP under development and make the right tradeoffs to lead the technical team. /li liCollaborate with RD engineering on specifications and implementation and with marketing, customers and partner teams on architectural specification concepts and details. /li liEstablish and develop strategic relationships with key engineering contacts up to management level at our customers. /li /ul h3Job Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar required, Masters preferred. /li li10+ years of relevant experience /li liStrong understanding of relevant Aerospace advanced drone systems, applications and semiconductor components. /li liIdeally a mix of H/W S/W skills in your given area of expertise. /li liStrong customer engagement skills, with direct experience supporting Aerospace specifically drone customers preferred. /li liAbility to work at the system-level, identifying optimal partitioning of solutions between HW and software. /li liComfortable working with the ambiguity inherent in implementing new technologies. /li liGood written and verbal communication/presentation skills spanning technical contributors, business stakeholders, customers, and management.
