/ppReporting to the Maintenance Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining highly automated production and packaging equipment, ensuring machinery operates safely, efficiently and with minimal downtime.
/ppbr / /ppThis is a hands-on role suited to an experienced maintenance technician who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
/ppbr / /ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pulliCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production equipment.
/liliDiagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and electromechanical faults.
/liliSupport the maintenance and reliability of automated production and packaging machinery.
/liliAssist with troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.
/liliRead and interpret electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings and schematics.
/liliSupport continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
/liliAssist with equipment modifications, installations and commissioning activities.
/liliWork closely with production teams to ensure efficient machine performance.
/liliLiaise with external contractors and equipment suppliers when required.
/liliEnsure all maintenance activities are completed safely and accurately in accordance with company procedures.
/liliMaintain accurate maintenance records using the site's maintenance management systems.




/li /ulpbr / /ppstrongAbout You /strong /ppTo be successful in this role you will ideally have: /pulliA recognised Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent technical apprenticeship).
/liliA minimum of 3 years' experience within an industrial maintenance environment.
/liliStrong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
/liliExperience maintaining automated manufacturing or production equipment.
/liliGood understanding of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
/liliBasic knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery and automation systems (fault finding experience is highly desirable).
/liliThe ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
/liliExcellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
/liliA commitment to safe working practices within a manufacturing environment.
/li /ulpbr / /ppstrongLanguage Requirements /strong /pullistrongFluent spoken and written Italian is essential.
/strong /lilistrongEnglish language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
