p For our client, a shipping company, we are seeking an Assistant Technical Superintendent.
p The successful candidate will join the Technical Department with the aim of developing professionally and progressively taking responsibility for the technical management of one or more vessels within the fleet.
/pp Location: Ravenna, Italy.
/pp Main responsibilities: /pulli Monitoring the technical condition of the fleet; /lili Supporting the management of planned and corrective maintenance activities; /lili Analyzing and handling technical issues reported by vessels; /lili Liaising with Masters and Chief Engineers; /lili Participating in onboard visits, audits, and inspections; /lili Assisting in the planning and management of dry dock projects and shipyard repairs.
/li /ulp Requirements: /pulli Seagoing experience as a Second Engineer Officer or Third Engineer Officer, preferably on Oil Chemical Tankers.

provided they are aligned with the proposed career development path; /lili Good command of both English and Italian; /lili Willingness to relocate to Ravenna, Italy; /lili Availability to travel frequently, mainly within the Mediterranean, Black Sea, Northern Europe, and Baltic regions, for technical visits, inspections, maintenance activities, and dry dock projects.
