Company overview essilorluxottica is a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of advanced vision care products, eyewear and med-tech solutions, serving over 150 countries.role overview the company is looking for a logistics network analyst (intern) to manage and optimise international transport logistics flows across essilor and luxottica entities, supporting global growth and operational efficiency.main responsibilitiesmonitor transportation service levels and cost performance, focusing on production component flows.mine and analyse data from company databases to drive optimisation and product development.assess the effectiveness of new data sources and data-gathering techniques.collect transportation data to build logistics service and cost reports and global network performance dashboards.collaborate with the reporting and controlling team to integrate transportation data into the bi data-management suite.lead or contribute to logistics projects.support internal customers on transportation-related topics.support the planning department in outbound and inbound transportation planning and coordination.assist daily transport operations using sap transport cockpit.prepare and manage invoicing and documentation for extra-eu shipments.work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operational flows.contribute to reporting activities, leveraging excel to analyse data and monitor performance.main requirementsstem or economics bachelor's or master's degree.knowledge of the transportation industry and logistics environment.ability in data gathering and analytics-oriented data management.team-work attitude and interest in ai.fluent english (written and spoken); french is a plus.strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach.highly detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.proficient in microsoft office, especially excel.
