The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the commercial development of a defined cluster of large corporate clients, driving growth through the origination, structuring and execution of Trade Working Capital solutions. /p pThe role requires a strong combination of senior client coverage, business development capabilities and product expertise across both traditional trade finance products and more sophisticated structured working capital solutions. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Origination Business Development /h3 ul liManage and develop senior relationships with a dedicated portfolio of large corporate clients and key decision-makers. /li liOriginate new business opportunities and drive commercial growth across the Trade Working Capital product suite. /li liIdentify client financing, liquidity optimization and supply chain needs, translating them into tailored commercial opportunities.
/li liLead strategic dialogue with CFOs, Treasurers, Procurement and Supply Chain executives. /li /ul h3Product Origination Structuring /h3 ul liOriginate and execute traditional Trade Finance solutions including guarantees, standby letters of credit, documentary letters of credit, import/export financing, receivables finance and payables finance solutions. /li liLead the origination and structuring of more sophisticated Working Capital transactions, including: /li liInventory Financing /li liPrepayment Financing /li liDistributor Financing /li liStructured Receivables Finance /li liSupply Chain Finance solutions /li liTailor‑made working capital structures designed around specific client needs and business models /li liCoordinate the development of bespoke solutions involving multiple internal stakeholders and international Santander platforms. /li /ul h3Portfolio Management Execution /h3 ul liManage and grow an existing portfolio of Trade Working Capital transactions, with responsibility for revenue generation, capital management, level of utilization and client satisfaction. /li liMonitor portfolio performance and identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities. /li liSupport transaction execution from origination through implementation and ongoing management. /li liContribute to revenue forecasting, pipeline discipline and commercial planning activities. /li /ul h3Internal Leadership Coordination /h3 ul liAct as a senior commercial partner for Coverage Bankers and product teams. /li liCoordinate closely with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Product Management and Structuring teams. /li liActively contribute to the development of the Italian Trade Working Capital franchise. /li liSupport knowledge sharing and provide guidance to junior team members when required.
