ph3The Role /h3 pWe are seeking an bIoT Hardware Engineer Lab Manager /b to lead the electronic design of our IoT devices while also managing the lab and warehouse at our Como headquarters. This role has a strong technical focus—electronic design, prototyping, industrialization—that extends to overseeing the supply chain, quality, logistics, and support. /p h3What will you do? /h3 h3Electronic Design and Industrialization /h3 ul liHardware design of IoT devices: define electronic architectures, select components, develop schematics, and oversee PCB layouts, coordinating with external designers and the firmware/software development team. /li liLead the prototyping phases—from breadboards to the first pilot batches—conducting and supervising functional, reliability, and environmental tests both in the lab and in the field. /li liProduct industrialization: oversee transition from prototype to series production, including assembly specifications, DFM/DFT, and production process validation. /li liProcurement and supply chain: select component suppliers, negotiate, perform incoming quality control, monitor costs and lead times, and provide technical support for all IoT products launched on the market. /li /ul h3Laboratory and Warehouse /h3 ul liOrganize daily laboratory and warehouse activities, overseeing consumables and packaging inventory. /li liMonitor device shipment requests, their return, and inspections in the event of malfunctions. /li liCoordinate warehouse staff for shipments, repairs, and dismantling/recycling in compliance with RENTRI regulations.



/li liEnsure device traceability throughout their lifecycle and organize activities with third‑party suppliers for assembly, customization, and shipping. /li /ul h3Who are we looking for? /h3 ul liDegree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related STEM disciplines /li liConcrete experience in electronic circuit design (schematics, PCB layout, component selection) /li liKnowledge of prototyping, testing and industrialization processes of electronic devices /li liFamiliarity with laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, soldering station, etc.) /li liExperience in supplier management, hardware procurement, and supply chain /li liExperience in warehouse and logistics management /li liAvailable from September 2026 /li /ul h3Skills that make the difference /h3 ul liExperience with wireless communication technologies (LoRa, BLE, NB‑IoT, Wi‑Fi) and typical IoT protocols /li liKnowledge of product regulations and certifications (CE, RED, RoHS) /li liOrganizational skills and management of priorities on multiple fronts simultaneously /li liAbility to work in a team and coordinate internal and external resources /li liProblem solving and proactivity in the face of unexpected events /li liAttention to detail, especially in quality control and traceability /li liClear and effective communication with different interlocutors (suppliers, technical team, subcontractors) /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 ul liPermanent contract, full-time /li liRAL €40,000 – €60,000 based on experience /li liThe opportunity to work at a scale‑up that is building Europe’s largest ecological corridor. /li liAn environment that rewards talent, responsibility, and the desire to make a difference /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
