Powertrain Testing Manager

pThe Powertrain Testing Manager will lead the Foggia RD testing facility, overseeing strong6 engine test cells /strong and a team of strong14 engineers and technicians /strong.
Reporting directly to the strongPowertrain Benches and Prototype Worldwide Responsible /strong, the role is responsible for site operations, testing execution, people development, budget management, safety, quality, and business performance, ensuring compliance with global standards and supporting the product development roadmap.
/ppbr / /ppstrongKEY RESPONSABILITIES /strong /pulliFull responsibility for site operations, team leadership, budget (OPEX/CAPEX), KPIs, and testing activities in accordance with WW guidelines.
/liliGovern the site test plan (development, durability, reliability, emissions/homologation) and balance testing demand against available capacity.
/liliEnsure test readiness, resource allocation, instrumentation, automation, and proper execution of all testing activities.
/liliLead, develop, and coach engineers and technicians, including hiring, performance management, succession planning, and skills development.
/liliManage equipment, maintenance, procurement, suppliers, contractors, and investment plans for test benches and laboratory infrastructure.
/liliCoordinate with Engineering, Automation, and IT teams to ensure effective testing, data reporting, and operational support.
/liliMaintain full accountability for laboratory safety, EHS compliance, risk mitigation, SOPs, and incident investigations.
/liliEnsure high standards of quality, data integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
/liliFull-time on-site presence required.




/li /ulpbr / /ppstrongQUALIFICATIONS /strong /pulliBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
/liliMinimum 5 years of experience in powertrain testing, laboratory management, or test engineering environments.
/liliProven experience leading technical teams in laboratory or testing operations.
/liliStrong knowledge of internal combustion engines, powertrain systems, emissions regulations, and validation processes.
/liliStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills within complex, global, and cross-functional organizations.
/liliResults-oriented mindset, strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure.
