/pp We are seeking an experienced EHS Lead to oversee all Environmental, Health Safety activities on a major data centre construction project in Milan.
/pp Reporting to senior project leadership, you will be responsible for driving a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with Italian regulations, and leading a team of EHS Advisors to deliver best-in-class safety performance across the project.
/pp Key Responsibilities /pulli Lead all Environmental, Health Safety activities on a large-scale data centre construction project.
/lili Ensure full compliance with Italian health, safety and environmental legislation and industry standards.
/lili Develop, implement and continuously improve site EHS policies, procedures and initiatives.
/lili Manage, mentor and develop a team of EHS Advisors on site.
/lili Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
/lili Drive a culture of safety excellence and accountability across all project teams and subcontractors.
/lili Investigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
/lili Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, project management teams and regulatory authorities.
/lili Deliver EHS training, toolbox talks and awareness programmes.
/lili Monitor project performance through KPIs and provide regular reports to senior management.
/li /ulp Requirements /pulli Proven experience in a senior EHS leadership role within construction, mission-critical or data centre projects.
/lili Strong understanding of Italian health, safety and environmental regulations.
/lili Experience managing and developing EHS teams.
/lili Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive behavioural safety initiatives.
/lili Excellent communication and leadership skills.
/lili Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, high-value construction environment.
/lili Relevant Health Safety qualification (NEBOSH, Diploma or Degree equivalent).
