The program is supported by the bDepartment of Industrial Engineering /b, which has a long-standing commitment to research and education in these fields. /p pThe course also contributes to the bDepartment of Excellence's objectives /b, promotingbinternationalisation /b and bcollaboration with companies /b to enhance postgraduate education. /p h3Research Areas /h3 pThe program focuses on three key research areas: /p pbAdvanced Materials and Industrial Symbiosis /b – Development of bstructural and functional materials /b for energy and environmental sustainability, with applications in manufacturing, biotechnology, and nanotechnology. /p ul libSustainable Energy /b – Optimization of energy systems, with a focus on efficiency, renewable sources, and the reduction of primary energy consumption.

diagnosis and prognosis of sustainable propulsion and energy conversion systems.
