This role is responsible for design assignments cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. /ph3Your responsibilities /h3ulliDesign engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to specification. /liliContribute to design reviews and design verification, modify design as necessary; /liliEvaluate, select and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments. /liliProvide technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities. /liliPrepare project documentation within one’s scope of deliverables; /liliAssist in preparing proposal of engineering projects (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.); /liliSupport Contract Managers in issuing claims (new/change in scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications, etc.). /liliProvide quality solutions as per customer requirements and deliver within budget and contract. /liliEnsure adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks; /liliCreate work plans in own area of responsibility and ensure quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost. /liliImprove effectiveness of work plan in collaboration with other functions; /liliAssist customers on technical issues, interact with official contacts, contractors and other staff within his/her scope of deliverables. /liliAssist communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings; /liliCollaborate with the Supply Chain function to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed on with potential suppliers. /liliProvide technical evaluation of supplier proposals, and accept as fit for purpose supplied equipment or services; /liliUse standard processes and tools applicable to one’s area of responsibility. /liliEnsure that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements.
