Senior Automation Engineer (Firmware/Embedded) — Freelance | FlorencePuò ottenere maggiori dettagli sulla natura di questa posizione e sui requisiti per i candidati leggendo quanto segue.For a tech company in the payment systems sector, we're looking for a freelance Senior Automation Engineer specialized in firmware and embedded testing, to ensure the quality of products such as Outdoor Payment Terminals (OPT) and forecourt controllers.What you'll do:Define test strategy and test plans from business requirementsDesign and execute automated tests on firmware, hardware-software integration and low-level embedded softwareDevelop test software to automate regression testing and performance benchmarksIntegrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for faster releasesDocument test plans, results and releases,



managing issue tracking and versioningRequirements (essential):5+ years of experience in hardware-software testing/development with structured methodologies3+ years with Java or C++Degree in engineering/electronicsExperience in firmware testing, hardware-software integration and validation of low-level embedded softwareTest automation frameworks (e.g. TestNG)Hands-on CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI)Proficiency in Linux (commands and scripting)Agile methodologyNice to have: retail petroleum/payments sector, EMV/PCI DSS and cryptography, API testing (Postman, REST Assured) on middleware.Logistics: freelance collaboration via Shakers. Florence (Osmannoro), on-site. xdwybme Occasional travel may be required.
