pstrongSW Control Development Engineer Model Base Design /strong /ppbr / /ppWe are currently hiring for a strongemControls Engineer – Demo Vehicles New Customer Pursuits /em.
/strongHe will be responsible for developing, integrating, and validating control systems for demonstration of vehicles and customer evaluation programs.
This role supports new business opportunities by delivering high-quality vehicle demonstrations, customizing control strategies to meet customer requirements, and providing technical expertise throughout the customer pursuit process.
The engineer works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful prototype development, vehicle commissioning, and customer presentations.

/pp strongLocation /strong: Turin, IT /p pstrongResponsibilities /strong /pulliDesign, develop, calibrate, and validate control algorithms for demonstration and prototype vehicles.
/liliConfigure and integrate electronic control units (ECUs), sensors, actuators, and communication networks such as CAN, CAN-FD, etc..

/liliSupport customer demonstrations by preparing vehicles, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring reliable system performance.
/liliCustomize software features and control strategies based on customer-specific requirements.
/liliCollaborate with systems, software, mechanical, electrical, and validation teams to deliver fully functional demonstration vehicles.
/liliPerform system integration, debugging, and root cause analysis for hardware and software issues.
/liliSupport test plans for functional verification, vehicle testing, and customer acceptance activities.
/liliAnalyze vehicle data, interpret test results, and recommend improvements to system performance.
/liliSupport prototype builds, vehicle commissioning, and field testing activities.
/liliParticipate in customer meetings,



technical reviews, and product demonstrations to explain system functionality and capabilities.
/liliProvide technical support during new customer pursuits, including proof-of-concept activities, feasibility studies, and technical proposal development.
/liliMaintain technical documentation, calibration records, software releases, and validation reports.
/liliEnsure compliance with company development processes, quality standards, and functional safety requirements where applicable.
/liliTravel as needed to customer locations, test facilities, and demonstration events /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongRequired Qualifications /strong /ppbr / /pulliMaster Engineering Degree in Automotive, Mechanics, mechatronics computer engineering / software engineering / computer science or equivalent /liliExperience developing vehicle control systems or embedded control software.
/liliStrong knowledge of vehicle electronics, ECUs, and communication protocols.
/liliExperience with MATLAB/Simulink, model-based development, or similar control system development tools.
/liliKnowledge on C, C++ /liliFamiliarity with calibration and diagnostic tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, or equivalent.
/liliExperience with system integration, troubleshooting, and vehicle testing.
/liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
/liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
/liliAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced development environment.
/li /ulpbr / /ppstrongPreferred Qualification /strong /ppbr / /pulliExperience supporting automotive prototypes or demonstration vehicles.
/liliKnowledge of electric, hybrid, or autonomous vehicle control systems.
/liliFamiliarity with automotive development standards, including ASPICE, ISO *****, or Automotive SPICE.
/liliExperience with HIL/SIL testing and automation.
/liliUnderstanding of customer product development and technical sales support processes.
/liliExperience working directly with OEMs or Tier 1 automotive suppliers /li /ul
