Sales Specialist (Marketing&Sales)

The successful candidate will work to drive the expansion of MIVO®-based products across international markets, managing a set of existing and new customers. You are ambitious and want to grow quickly in an international company headquartered in Genoa with worldwide customers.
Main Activities and Responsibilities
- Execute, promote, and suggest several digital activities to attract prospects and generate new leads, including social media and scientific communities.
- Answer clients’ questions about our products, both technical and scientific.
- Take care of our contacts along the customer journey, explain the advantages of our products, and show how MIVO® technology can boost their research. Arrange pre‑ and post‑sales meetings.
- Deliver sales presentations solo and in tandem with R&D; people to understand customers’ needs, write quotes, and close negotiations.
- Create strong business relationships worldwide and develop a sense of teamwork with R&D; people and executives to support daily operations and help drive sales of the company’s most recent innovations.
- Keep updated professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications,
establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Candidate Profile
- Shares our vision, is passionate and ambitious.
- Outgoing and proactive, with a problem‑solver attitude and team‑player mentality.
- Background in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering or similar.
- Interested in digital channels and technology, eager to learn new tools.
- Comfortable with Excel spreadsheets, can analyse data and create PowerPoint presentations.
- Speaks and writes English fluently, enjoys communicating with people from different technical backgrounds.
- Available to travel for events, training lessons, and customer visits.
- No need for extensive sales experience; we provide training to develop you into a top sales specialist.
Desired Advantages
- Prior experience with a CRM system.
- Sales background in relevant organizations (pharma, biotech, academia).
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree with experience in cellular biology and/or pharmacology.
