Lead Software Engineer (Ref. 31/26)
What will you be responsible for?
Reporting directly to technical management, you will have real ownership over the system architecture and code quality, actively contributing to end-to-end technology decisions: from the backend to APIs, from cloud infrastructure to mobile and web clients.
What will you do specifically?
- You will contribute to technology strategy and architectural decisions, maintaining a holistic view of the entire system.
- You’ll lead API design: contracts, error models, versioning, and backward compatibility.
- You’ll oversee authentication, authorization, and security (OWASP, threat modeling, access policies).
- You’ll promote clean architecture and proper separation of domains, guiding incremental refactoring with a methodical approach and clear priorities.
- You’ll manage system observability: structured logging, tracing (OpenTelemetry), metrics, alerts, and SLOs.
- You’ll define and enforce team standards: review processes, branching, definition of done, and release quality.
- You’ll collaborate with the frontend team to design effective integrations, while also overseeing the client-side architecture.
You’re the right person if…
You have solid experience with Node.js/TypeScript backend development in production—with a measurable track record of quality and reliability—and you can think critically about distributed systems, scalability, and complex technology choices.
Additionally:
- You have in-depth knowledge of Flutter and the BLoC/Clean architecture (layer separation, dependency inversion, use cases), with experience in native mobile and web (WASM) development.
- You’re familiar with observability tools (Grafana, Datadog, or similar) and CI/CD pipelines.
- You serve as a technical point of reference for the team: you share best practices, provide constructive feedback, and take a mentoring approach.
