Experteer Overview
In this role you lead the Risk Engineering Team in Milan, defining and executing the strategy for Constructions and Corporate Client risks in Italy, aligned with Allianz Group targets.
You will partner with local and group stakeholders to shape underwriting, pricing, and product strategies, while driving portfolio performance and cross-functional collaboration. You will also act as the main contact for agents and brokers and oversee implementation of new products and corporate governance.

- Ensure underwriters comply with authority, pricing, and rating guidelines
- Steer local portfolio to meet financial targets
- Collaborate with functional areas to review end-to-end underwriting lifecycle
- Work with Sales, Risk Consulting, Claims, and other lines to execute marketing strategies including cross‑selling
- Maintain underwriting consistency and adherence to corporate governance and local rules
- Support development and implementation of new or revised products
- Assist in acquiring new business and renewing existing business, including agent/broker negotiations
- Communicate local business strategy externally
Responsabilità
- Master's degree in Industrial, Civil, Construction or Mechanical Engineering
- 15–25 years of proven underwriting experience for corporate and construction risks
- Strong leadership abilities
- Expertise in risk assessment and policy administration lifecycle
- Solid pricing knowledge and market analysis skills
- Experience in wordings design and underwriting projects (preferred)
- Entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication
- Ability to operate in an international organization
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Data analytics and Office 365 proficiency
