ppWeare currently looking for a bSoftware Engineer /b to join the team in bRome /b. /p pWe are seeking a Software Engineer with a passion for developing cutting‑edge software. In this role, you will contribute to improving our software application that monitors the end-to-end operational workflow within the Ground Segment of satellite missions. /p pThis application is critical to the daily operations of various Earth observation missions, ensuring efficient ground‑segment production. By joining our team, you will play a key role in advancing technologies that help monitor and protect the health of our planet. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liCollaborate with the team to design, develop, test, and document high-quality code. /li liEstablish and maintain the software build, testing, and documentation infrastructure for mission‑critical projects. /li liProvide constructive feedback through code reviews, supporting and mentoring team members when necessary. /li liEffectively communicate solutions, including technical aspects, to customers and stakeholders. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering,
or equivalent hands‑on experience in software development. /li li5 years of practical experience in software development, preferably in requirements‑driven projects. /li liStrong proficiency in Python; additional familiarity with technologies such as Django, Angular and Grafana is considered a plus. /li liKnowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or similar. /li liExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins). /li liFamiliarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and hardware virtualization (VMs). /li liStrong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams. /li liFluent English; knowledge of Italian is preferred. /li liAvailability to work on‑site at least 2‑3 days per week (remote work is possible on the remaining days). /li /ul h3Bonus Skills /h3 ul liExperience with aerospace engineering standards (e.g., ECSS) is preferred. /li liExperience with C++, Java, or C# is preferred. /li liA good command of the Italian language is an asset. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
